Take a Meal, Leave a Recipe
I've been thinking about meals, planning out our weekly shopping list, and trying to stay on budget. There are times that I feel we eat the same meals over and over. Can you relate? My encouragement to you in this post is to bring a recipe card or printable of the meal you have prepared to leave with your friend or loved one in need. That way, you are sharing meal ideas, and maybe if it was easy enough for you to cook and share, it will be easy for them to repeat and cook for themselves!
A creative way to customize a recipe is to use an app called Canva where you can design a recipe card that looks like a piece of art. You simply print your design as is, frame it, or email it. I like to display artwork I can easily swap out for the seasons and this is a unique way to do that. Maybe it's one of your favorite fall recipes or a family heirloom recipe you would like to share. Just for fun I'm going to share a recipe from my own kitchen. This is a recipe for apple pie that was passed on to me from my mother-in-law. It's one of our family's favorites and I hope it will become one of yours too!
